IESE Business School’s full time MBA has been recognized as the third best in the world and the top program in Europe. That´s according to the Global MBA Ranking 2025, published today by the Financial Times.
The ranking highlights the internationality and diversity of IESE’s MBA program, with 90% of the class being international students and 40% being women—reflecting the school’s commitment to fostering female talent. The students also come from a wide range of industries. The combination of a diverse student body and an international faculty greatly enriches learning through business case study discussions and expands networking opportunities.
In addition to studying in a global environment, IESE MBA students have the opportunity to take modules in Mexico City, Nairobi, New York, and Shenzhen, gaining firsthand business experience across different continents.
Another key factor to IESE’s high placement in the ranking is its strong focus on sustainability. IESE´s MBA is ranked No. 2 globally for ESG education and net-zero emissions. The Financial Times ranking evaluates aspects such as program content dedicated to sustainability, ethics, social and environmental issues, and climate solutions for organizations to achieve net-zero emissions.
IESE has also been recognized for the power of its alumni network, which the Financial Times ranks as No. 2 in the world. This metric measures the strength and effectiveness of IESE´s global network of over 60,000 alumni in creating career opportunities and supporting MBA students’ professional development.
Finally, one of the most valued aspects of the program is the personalized attention students receive throughout their MBA journey. IESE fosters a close-knit learning environment with small team-based projects, individualized support, and an open-door policy with faculty. This dedication has contributed to the high levels of satisfaction among graduates: according to the Financial Times, IESE alumni have given the school an average score of 9.4 out of 10, the third highest in the world.
According to Mireia Las Heras, Academic Director of IESE’s MBA: “We are very proud to see our MBA ranked among the top three in the world, especially as we celebrate its 60th anniversary. Since its first edition, the MBA has continuously evolved to meet the needs of an ever-changing business world. In recent years, we have introduced specializations in international business, finance, data and digital business, sustainability, and entrepreneurship and innovation. The MBA is a rigorous and comprehensive program whose transformational impact extends far beyond preparing students for their first leadership role. With our general management perspective, continuous innovation, and humanistic approach, the program offers an excellent pathway to a long-term career with impact and purpose.”
