The new focused program ‘Leadership in the AI Era: Strategies for Success’ is aimed at CEOs and senior executives in Poland who want to better understand the potential impact of AI on their work, their organizations and the competitive landscape and discover ways to create value. Several dynamic and interactive learning methodologies with an eminently practical approach will be added to the traditional and successful IESE case method.
This program adds to the increase in regular and relevant learning and networking activities for alumni in the region with IESE professors and senior managers who can discuss current topics such as AI and its impact on business, female leadership in boards of directors and the international expansion of companies, the role of Polish firms in the recovery in Ukraine, or climate financing.
Two Decades in Poland
IESE, which regularly appears at the top of the most important international rankings, began its in-person presence in Poland 20 years ago with the creation of the Alumni Chapter in 2004 and the launch of the Advanced Management Program (AMP) for local executives in 2006, which coincided with the opening of a comercial office in Warsaw.
Since then, the school has supported directors and leaders of local companies with education of the highest caliber, while its community of former students has continued to grow. There are now more than 600 from the 13 editions of the AMP program and full-time MBA, as well as from other programs, who work in leadership positions across numerous sectors and greatly contribute to the prosperous Polish economy. The country’s GDP has grown more than 4% on average in the last three years and forecasts point to a significant acceleration in economic growth.
Andrea Montalvo, spokesperson for executive education programs at IESE, comments: “In order to respond in a more flexible and adapted way to the current needs of managers in Poland, we are launching a focused program on leadership development in the context of the rise of artificial intelligence. Poland is a key market for IESE in Europe; we have been training managers and entrepreneurs for two decades with both local and international programs delivered from our campus in Europe.”
IESE in Europe and the World
Europe is a strategic region for IESE, where in addition to the activities offered at its campuses in Barcelona and Madrid in Spain, it will teach a tailored program this spring for the Hungarian government. It has had a campus in Munich since 2015, becoming the first international school of business management to be permanently established in Germany.
Last January the General Management Program was launched at the Munich campus, a new program for German managers, which joins other executive education programs and the Executive MBA taught there, as well as sessions for alumni and support for entrepreneurs.
IESE also has campuses in New York and São Paulo and a network of 15 associated business schools in Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas, which allows it to operate throughout the world.
