Juan Pablo Filippini
BIOGRAPHY
With a strong academic foundation in economics, including both bachelor’s and master’s degrees, my career journey has encompassed seven years in the banking sector, including a stint as a consultant for the World Bank.
My enduring passion for teaching has led me to serve as a visiting professor at UADE and UPF, instructing in macroeconomics, econometrics, and international economics. Before embarking on my academic path as an MRM student at IESE, I worked as an RA under the guidance of Prof. Carles Vergara, now my current supervisor.
My research interests center on the Financial Economics of Climate and Sustainability, Green Energy Transition, and Urban Economics. I aspire to secure a tenured position at a prestigious university in the next decade, engaging actively in both research and teaching.
