Library News
The Library will be holding a special webinar about the Orbis database next Thursday, April 18, at 3:30 p.m. for IESE MBA, MiM and PhD students, faculty and research assistants. The session will last approximately an hour.
The objective of the training session is to provide a basic understanding of Orbis. Moody's representative Simone Vodola will present Orbis capabilities and functions.
About the database:
Orbis is a global database, produced by Moody's, of information on public and private companies worldwide.
Think of Orbis when you want to:
• Get extensive data about a company including locations of subsidiaries
• Screen for companies based on geography, financial performance, industry, deals, ownership structure, number of employees, year of incorporation and other criteria
• Compare a company to its competitors along multiple dimensions.
How to access Orbis?
Access campus-wide and off campus, from the Top Databases menu on the Library homepage, clicking on Orbis, or from the A-Z Databases page.
