The Library will be holding a special training session about Bloomberg database for Research next Thursday, September 15, at 3:30 p.m. in Room Q-302 (Barcelona North campus). The session, for IESE research assistants and PhD students, will last approximately an hour.
The objective of the training session is to give you a basic understanding of Bloomberg (business and financial data, news and insight).
The session will cover how the Business School and a Research team can benefit from the data in the system, including economic and macro data, statistics, forecasts, news and research, idea generation, company analysis and much more.
This will be an interactive session with Matilde Suárez, Bloomberg Account Manager, where you will get to ask your questions and gather insight on how Bloomberg can help you succeed.
About the database:
24-hour financial, economic and government information covering all market sectors. Company financials, market data spanning more than 20 years, charts, statistics, a communications platform and current news reports.
How to access Bloomberg?
Library PC only (Financial Room). Ask staff for password.
