Library News
St. Josemaría, founder of the Opus Dei and Grand Chancellor of the University of Navarra, visited IESE Barcelona in 1972 for a gathering with employees and alumni. At the time, 14 years had passed since he had entrusted the creation and management of a Christian-inspired business management school to Antonio Valero.
At the gathering, St. Josemaría spoke of our mission to train managers who have a positive impact on companies and society.
The Library would like to mark this anniversary by presenting some books and articles.
This material will be displayed in the Barcelona Library entrance hall.
We would like to thank Juan Joly Amat, who, to mark the occasion, has left us his father (Juan Joly Fontanals - PADE-I-59) collection of works by St. Josemaría, which includes a 1950 edition of "Camino" dedicated by St. Josemaría himself.
If you are interested in seeing it, ask at the Barcelona Library desk.
