Navigating IT Architecture: Building Blocks for a Data-Driven Organization

The target participant is a mid-to-senior level manager or executive, primarily from non-technical backgrounds, who plays a strategic role in their organization. They are responsible for decision-making that affects the overall direction and success of their business unit or organization. While they may not be directly involved in IT, their decisions are increasingly impacted by digital and technological considerations. The module’s objective is to provide the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate the intricacies of a contemporary business landscape where technology and data are central to strategic decisions. In particular, this module addresses the following challenges faced my non-technical managers:

Technical Understanding Gap: There’s a growing disconnect between strategic decision-making and the comprehension of the underlying technological infrastructure that these decisions impact.

Rapid Technological Evolution: The swift progression of digital technologies poses challenges in keeping organizations competitive. Insights into the foundational Data Model can guide informed choices about technology adoption and integration.

Stability vs. Innovation Dilemma: With an operational backbone supporting current business operations and simultaneous exploration of innovative solutions, finding the right equilibrium can be daunting.

Time-to-Market Constraints: As markets shift, there’s an amplified pressure to expedite the time-to-market for new value propositions. Ensuring organizational agility in this regard is paramount

Organizational Transformation Navigation: As entities transition towards a data-driven organizations, leading or being an integral part of this change presents challenges.
