Industrial Excellence Award (IEA)
January 26-27, 2022 - Online
Since 1995, the Industrial Excellence Award (IEA) competition benchmarks Management Quality for European competitiveness in the industrial and service sectors.
The annual management conference and award ceremonies provides an exceptional and unmatched learning environment which is personal, mind opening, and actionable. Due to Covid-19 constraints, we organize this edition in on-line format. The event is free of charge.
In two consecutive days, we will feature top managers from the national champions across Europe —Henkel and Nobilia (Germany), TMG Automotive (Portugal), and Simonelli Group (Italy)— who will explain and discuss how they develop their operations strategies top-down and bottom-up, and how they use digitalization to transform the value chain.
Register for this unique event: January 26 from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm for two company presentations, and January 27 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm for two company presentations and the announcement of the European award winner.

TMG Automotive
TMG Automotive researches, develops, and manufactures materials for automotive interior used in the production of seating and panels for major OEMs such as BMW, Daimler, Toyota and Volvo. Its industrial footprint spans two plants in Portugal and two more in China and the U.S.
TMG Automotive stands out as an innovation leader in their sector. By consistently devoting more than 6% of revenues and 10% of its headcount to fuel the development of new materials with superior technical and sustainability performance, it has developed a unique product portfolio enabling differentiation in a space otherwise driven mainly by cost competitiveness.
During the pandemic, TMG Automotive excelled at aligning all areas of the organization to protect the cash flow. They also decided not to stop any production plant despite not having orders from customers—something that proved very useful post-lockdown, when their competitors lagged behind because of long ramp ups. On a longer-term perspective, TMG Automotive has already embarked in an ambitious digitalization roadmap that will help bringing their operations to the next level.
