Valeria Fratocchi holds a Master degree in Business Administration from IEEM Business School (Universidad de Montevideo, Uruguay) and a Bachelor degree in Social and Work Psychology from the Catholic University of Uruguay.
After an executive career of more than 25 years as Chief Human Resources Officer in various industries she switched to the academic environment. Her C-level positions included activities in human resources, talent management, labor relations, crisis management, compliance, culture and people.
Professor Fratocchi is currently a full-time professor at IEEM Business School, where she teaches courses on Organizational Behavior and Labor Relations, and leads several Personal Development Program initiatives. Parallelly, she works as a consultant, helping firms define and implement their HR agenda, starting with strategic planning and all the way down to change management. She also works with partners and families, as small teams that require a specific approach to competence development. On a one-on-one basis, she provides personal help to managers seeking advice for personal and professional growth.
