Oscar Gallego earned: a PhD. in Economics & Business Sciences from ICADE, Universidad Pontificia de Comillas, Spain; a Bachelors of Mechanical Engienering from Georgia Institute of Technology, EE.UU.; a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics & Science from St. Andrews, USA / Scotland. In IESE he did the AMP (SEP) USA and Board School (President of both promotions) and was the IESE Board Invest President (an investing vehicle). Oscar has received 3 main awards: “Distinguished Engineer” 2019, Georgia Institute of Technology, USA; EU BS Entrepreneur of the Year 2016; HP President’s Qualty Award 2014. Oscar has been a Professor of IESE since 2016.
Oscar has over 26 years of multinational corporate experience in IT and Digital, mainly in P&G, HP y GE. He is held several CxO Global and EMEA positions, and recently served as Chairman of the Board of GE Digital Spain and led the Chair of GE Industry 4.0 in Deusto University, Spain. His academic and professional interest focuses on improving the industry, business ecosystem and society using exponential technologies, mainly Big Data, 3D Printing, Robotics, AI, NLP, Blockchain and Quantum Computing.
Currently, Oscar combines several part-time roles: as CTO (Autocontrol, El Choque, Prosol-bCoffty, BlackLimba); in entrepreneurship, having founded four start-ups (iPlatea Impresión 3D, Quantic Brain Private Equity Advisory, Inaris Primus Group en PYME Advisory, Inak Ingeniería Hidráulica); as an inversor in several companies (Enzymlogic, Cargatucoche, Criptan, TokenCity, Nerety, Adventurees, TripleOGames, TokenCity); as Board Director of several institutions and companies (Rovenso Robotics, Tetramax EU H2020, Georgia Tech Europe, Prosfit non-profit).
