María Jesús Valdemoros holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Navarra. She holds an MBA from IE Business School and a master`s degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Navarra.

She gained her first professional experience as a junior consultant in Soluziona (Indra), working in e-commerce and banking. Later, after a career of ten years in the Círculo de Empresarios, where she held the position of Head of the Economics Department, she switched to the public sector. She served for the Government of Navarra as General Director of Economic Policy and Internationalization, and as General Director of Economic and Business Policy. She has also been a member of the Board of Directors of several public and private companies.

Throughout her career, María Jesús Valdemoros has specialized in economic analysis, an area in which she has a professional and an academic interest ever since her work as a research assistant at IESE under professor Toribio. She has been teaching courses in economics for the last 15 years in several universities -Carlos III, University of Navarra, and IE-, both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

She currently combines her academic activity with her duties as a member of the regional Parliament of Navarra.
