Luis Martín Cabiedes is Senior Lecturer in the Entrepreneurship Department where he teaches Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Finance. He has a degree in Philosophy from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, an MBA from IESE Business School, University of Navarra and a Financial Analyst Charter from CFA Institute.

In 1989, he joined the Europa Press Group, where he was co-president for 12 years.

In 1998, he started investing in early-stage tech startups. He initially operated as a business angel and then launched his own venture capital fund (Cabiedes and Partners) in 2009. He has invested in more than three hundred digital startups and Search Funds, including Ole, Privalia, Trovit, Deporvillage, Kantox, or more recently BlaBlaCar, Indexa Capital and Repli SL.
