Jose Maria Casas is Lecturer in the Entrepreneurship Department. He holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration and also an IESE Executive MBA, University of Navarra. He has developed his professional career in the High-Tech, E-commerce and retail industries. As executive, he has served as Market Leader in Apple Retail Spain and has held different executive positions at Leroy Merlin and General Electric.

As a private investor, he has invested and participated in more than 25 projects and has been National Award for the best “Exit” in Spain in 2017. He is currently president of the Spanish Association of Business Angels.

As a board member, he has a large experience both in retail (Bricocenter, ITALY), high tech (Capital Payments, USA) and start-ups (Baluwo, Careesma, among others -SPAIN-).
