Jieun Shin is an Assistant Professor in the Strategic Management Department at IESE Business School. Her research focuses on the intersection of environmental performance, innovation, and management. In her recent research, she explores what drives firms’ environmental performance, with a particular emphasis on how firms’ internal organization affects green innovation and pollution levels (e.g., CO2 or toxic chemical emissions). For instance, one of her papers investigates how structured management practices influence firms’ adaptive responses to fuel price changes in terms of CO2 emissions.
