Ignacio de Orúe is currently the Director of Talent and Culture at the Orange Group, a telecommunications company with approximately 140,000 employees in around 80 countries. Based in Paris, his responsibilities include employer branding and recruiting policies, talent management, learning and development and company culture. Previously, Ignacio served as the Director of Human Resources for the international divisions of the Group.
Prior to that, Ignacio had a long career at Orange Spain, holding various positions within its Executive Committee, including roles in Strategy and Business Development, Content Management, Legal Affairs and Regulation, Brand and Communication, Customer Experience, Chief Digital Officer, and finally, Director of People at Orange Spain following its merger with Jazztel.
At the beginning of his career, Ignacio worked for Boston Consulting Group and for J.P. Morgan in London and New York.
Ignacio is a trustee of the Fundación Orange España and has recently been certified as a board member by the IFA Institute (Institut Français des Administrateurs) and Sciences Po University in France.
Ignacio holds a degree in Law and Business Administration from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE, E-3) and completed an MBA at Wharton (University of Pennsylvania) after receiving an academic scholarship from La Caixa.
