Greg Burke has worked for 40 years in journalism and public relations. The former spokesman for Pope Francis, he also developed strategic communications for the Vatican and worked as Director of Communications at IESE in Barcelona.
He has taught Communications in both the MIM and the MBA at IESE, as well as an elective, Dealing with Media, in the MBA program.
He worked as a correspondent in Rome for more than 20 years, first for Time Magazine and then for Fox News. He led the coverage for Fox after the death of Pope John Paul II and traveled widely throughout Europe and the Mideast for the television network. He covered breaking news and conflicts from Afghanistan to South Africa, including the entire war in Lebanon in the summer of 2006.
Greg Burke holds his Bachelor’s degree from Columbia College and his Master’s from the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism. He lives in Madrid.
