Claire Linares holds a Ph.D. in Marketing and a Master in Management from HEC Paris.
Her main focus of research is at the intersection of consumer behavior, stereotypes, and face perception. More broadly, she is interested in how consumers navigate today’s changing world, for example how they respond to distrust towards institutions or how they manage their time.
Prior to joining academia, Prof. Claire Linares worked for 10 years in brand management at international cosmetics groups. She developed skincare ranges for Guerlain, a premium beauty brand of the Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy group. She also managed a team of product managers at the natural cosmetics group L’Occitane en Provence. She was responsible for expanding the perfume category worldwide.
