GyanDhan helps Indian students pay for their education through Indian rupee loans from banks and other financial institutions in India. The loan covers tuition fees and living expenses, and the terms are based on individual profile assessment. It is applicable for students admitted to the full-time MBA program at IESE.

General Conditions:

• Maximum amount: 100% Cost of Attendance if collateral is present, 75 lakhs for non-collateral loans

• Repayment period: up to 15 years

• Interest rate: starting at 9.5%, 10.75% for non-collateral loans

• Grace period: no repayment during study period, only interests for no collateral loans.

One of the objectives of the CSC is to provide financial assistance to Chinese citizens wishing to study abroad. CSC is financed primarily by the state as well as by private donations.

Taiwan’s Ministry of Education has offered a low-interest loan to help students to study overseas for a number of years. Since 2010, some municipal governments (city/county governments) have launched their own low-interest loans to target their own residents. This is a government fund that provides loans and scholarships for study abroad. The grants cover tuition fees up to a maximum of NOK 46,400 for each academic year. An extraordinary grant of up to NOK 49,000 per year is available.

"Master or Ph. D.-level. At master level, tuition support is given in the form of 70 per cent grant and 30 per cent loan on the first NOK 66 003 kr you pay in tuition fees. Any tuition support beyond this is in the form of a loan, up to a maximum of NOK 129 062 kr per year."
